Doctoral studies

The organisation of doctoral studies aims at the preparation of young researchers who could successfully integrate into the national and international research environment and be able to work in inter-institutional and international research teams.

Faculty’s strength is its ability to involve young researchers in various scientific activities, creating favourable conditions for university doctoral students not only to deepen their theoretical and methodological knowledge of a particular field of science but also to conduct scientific research of international significance, to participate in international projects and traineeships abroad, to give lectures and seminars not only in this university but also in partner universities abroad. Since the reestablishment of the university, almost 30 young and perspective doctors of political science have joined the ranks of Lithuanian and world researchers.
